- Dyess AFB, Texas, intends to make a single award for the purchase Vehicle Lightbars and Sirens. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price. The solicitation will be available on or about August 31, 2009 and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. You may download the solicitation and fax your quote in at (325) 696-4078. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov.
