- This is a formated Doc of the description, perhaps a bit easier to read through. Statement of Work Removal and Replacement of Pumps, Piping, and Electrical including new SCDA system in Bldg. 500 Room L138 Sewage Lift Station. 1. Scope: The work covered by this Statement of Work consists of all labor, equipment, and materials; and in performing all work required for Removal and Replacement of Pumps, Piping, and Electrical including new SCDA system in Bldg. 500 Room L138 Sewage Lift Station. 2. Major Items of Work: A. Complete removal and replacement of PVC Piping of sewer lines into holding tanks. B. Removal and replacement of all valves and fittings so either tank can be used on its own or normal operation. C. New fiberglass lids for top of both tanks. D. Removal and installation of new pump control panels to include starters control relays new SCADA system compatible with present phone lines and all switches required to make lift station operational. E. Pumps will be able to run in hand mode if chosen.P umps will have two transducers with easy switching from one tank to the other. F. Remove and replace all floats in both tanks. G. Remove and replace with new ABS 15 HP pumps and motor for each tank. H. Spare pump and motor installed in L138 for emergency replacement. 3. Location of Work: Offutt Air Force Base Bldg. 500 Room L138 Sewage Lift station. 4. Codes: The work shall conform to the latest applicable Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC). 5. Occupancy: N/A 6. Utility/Service Interruptions: The government representative shall be notified not less than 15 calendar days in advance of any interruptions of building utilities/services. The contractor shall describe in writing the work to be done and the time and duration of the interruption... 7. Coordination: The contractor shall coordinate and properly relate the work to be done to the site and to the work of all the trades. The contractor shall visit the premises and thoroughly familiarize themselves with all the details of the work to be done and the working conditions. 8. Shop Drawings: N/A. 9. Repair of Work: The work shall be carefully laid out in advance. Any damage to buildings, or equipment, shall be repaired by workers skilled in that particular trade, at no additional cost to the Government. 10. Clean Up: The contractor shall assure that the work area is cleaned up at the end of each day. Debris and trash shall be removed and properly disposed of by the contractor outside the confines of Offutt AFB. 11. Work Schedule: The working hours for this contract shall be between 0730 and 1630 hours daily, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays. 12. Performance Period: The performance period will be 3 weeks. 13. Test: After the maintenance is completed, and at such time as the government representative may direct, the contractor shall conduct an operating test for approval. The equipment shall be demonstrated to operate in accordance with the requirements of this Statement of Work and the operator's manual. The test shall be performed in the presence of the government representative. The contractor shall furnish all of the instruments and personnel required to perform the tests. 14. Use of Utilities: All reasonable quantities of utilities will be made available to the contractor without charge. 15. Guarantee: The equipment furnished under this contract shall be guaranteed against defective materials, design, and workmanship for the full warranty time which is standard with the manufacturer and/or supplier, but in no case less than one year from the date of acceptance either for beneficial use or final acceptance (whichever is earlier). Upon receipt of notice, from the Government of a failure of any part of the guaranteed equipment covered by the scope of the guarantee, during the guarantee period, shall be replaced promptly with new parts by workers skilled in that particular trade, at no additional cost to the Government. 16. Payment: All of the costs in connection with this contract shall be included in the lump sum price for all of the work to be performed under the contract.
