- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number R09PS34145 which incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 2005-36. This is a Small Business Set Aside under the North American Industry Classification Systems Code 423830, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office has a Commercial Item supply acquisition for a Submersible Motor. Motor, submersible, Dempster Industries, Model No. NIOCS 7S, Serial # 97L5574 or equal. Salient Characteristics: 60 HP, 460v 3 phase, 1800 RPM, Rated 640 GPM @ 260 ft, with all 316SS construction designed. Offerors proposing to furnish an "equal" product, in accordance with the "Brand Name or Equal" provision of this solicitation, shall insert the following description for the product. Product Name, Manufacturer's Name, Address, and Product make, model, or catalog description. Dempster Industries, 7115 6th Street, Beatrice Nebraska 68310, 1-800-777-0212. Quotes are due by 4:00 p.m. MST, Thursday, September 3, 2009. The FOB Point is Destination to Yuma Area Office, 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Warehouse, Yuma, AZ 85364. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award. The CCR Handbook and information on the registration process can be obtained via the CCR website, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and banking information. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items is applicable. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the lowest responsive, responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government. The provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items is applicable, and a completed copy of this provision must be included with RFQ. Clauses at 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items); 52.204-07 (Central Contractor Registration; 52.247-34 (F.O.B. Destination) and 52.212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items) which includes clauses 52.219-6, 52.219-28; 52.222-3; 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, and 1452.210-70 apply to this RFQ. Contractors wishing to respond to this RFQ should provide with their quote: A price quote on company letterhead for the requested items showing unit price and total. Offerors must furnish company name, official point of contact name, address, phone and fax number, and email address. Offerors who have already submitted a quote, need not resubmit another quote. The due date and time for receipt of quotations is Thursday, September 3, 2009, by 4:00 p.m. Quotes may be e-mailed to asander@usbr.gov or faxed to 928-343-8568.
