Description

The Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) intends to issue a request for proposals for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services located at the Ports of Beaumont, Port Arthur and Corpus Christi, Texas. The successful offeror shall provide stevedoring and related terminal services in connection with the receipt, processing, and/or loading/discharging of all vessels designated by the government. The period of performance is for one base year and three one-year option periods. The anticipated contract start date is 1 February 2010. This solicitation shall be issued as a full and open competitive acquisition under NAICS code 488320. This solicitation will be issued utilizing commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 15. The solicitation will be issued on or about 9 September 2009.
