- National Archives and Records Center National Personnel Records Center Pulpit Ladders RFQ: NAMA-09-Q-0114 The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase and delivery of 27(each) 30"(width) aluminum pulpit ladders for the National Archives' National Personnel Records Center in Valmeyer Suitland, MD. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all management, supervision, and personnel, tools, transportation, materials, and other equipment necessary to build/purchase and deliver the pulpit ladder IAW the Specifications provided with the RFQ. The order awarded as a result of this RFQ will be a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The award will be made to the Offeror providing the lowest cost technically acceptable. Delivery of the Ladders is to begin within 30-days (estimated) after Receipt of Order. The requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332999 ( All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing) and the Small Business Size Standard is 500-employees. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by NARA. Copies of the RFQ, which will be available on or about August 26, 2009, may be obtained through the Federal Business Opportunities web site at www.fedbizopps.gov. This RFQ is expected to close Friday, September 4, 2009 at 3:00pm EST. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. All Contractors interested in receiving notification of updates/amendments to the solicitation posted on the EPS are urged to enroll on the web site mailing list for this acquisition. Those Contractors enrolled will be notified automatically of any changes made to the RFQ through their e-mail addresses. No telephone or fax RFQ request will be accepted. Question concerning this request for quotation shall be forwarded to the Contracting Specialist, Mr. Damon Nevils; all questions should be in be in written/type form to be answered; no telephone questions will be answered.
