- Notice of Intent The purpose of this notice of intent is to notify the commercial market of the Government's intent to make an award to Executive Information Systems, LLC for SAS software maintenance. This requirement will be made on a sole source basis under authority of FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(C)(ii). The requirement is for maintenance renewal of SAS software that has already been purchased and is in use. Removal and replacement of the current software would be costly and disruptive. The maintenance will ensure that any problems with the existing software can be fixed in a timely manner. It will also enable upgrades to the software to be received and installed This notice of intent to award should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or contract. Any information provided to the Government is strictly voluntary. Responses to the notice of intent to award will not serve as proposals, bids, or offers which could be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. As such, the Government will not cover any costs for any information or inquiry submitteed as a result of this request. Please include the name of the point of contact, e-mail address and telephone number should the Government have any qustions regarding individual responses. Please note: A SOLICITATION DOES NOT EXIST. Any comments should be provided no later than 5 pm EST on August 30. The reference number for this announcement is IRS Requistion Number M-9-M0-22-RO-A17-000. If no compelling responses are received an award will be made to Executive Information Systems, LLC.
