Description

The Scope of Work requires the removal and replacement of two propane fired boilers that are used for both building heat and domestic hot water at the Fort Yuma Indian Hospital. The mechanical and plumbing work for the boilers requires minimal change-out and fit up, consistent with like-kind replacement. Electrical work for the boilers is minimal, requiring the addition of one circuit into an existing panel. Thermal and moisture protection modifications to the roofing envelope requires only patch and repair work for existing exhaust vent penetrations. This project anticipates no structural modifications. This requirement is for a proposal leading to issuance of a delivery order under a competitively awarded Job Order Contract (JOC) for the Phoenix Area Indian Health Service. The contractor is Centennial Contractors Enterprises with a field office in Phoenix, Arizona. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This requirement was previously publicized as an informational Presolicitation Notice on August 25, 2009. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED TO THE PUBLIC. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE AWARDED BY ISSUANCE OF A DELIVERY ORDER UNDER EXISTING IDIQ CONTRACT HHSI161200900004I.
