- SYNOPSIS 1. The Government intends to award a single contract from this solicitation for the Defense Language Institute (DLI) located at Presidio of Monterey, California. Contract period of 22 September 2009 through 21 September 2010. 2. The Scope of Work under this Services contract will be primarily for development and field testing of Very Low Range (VLR) Defense Language Proficiency Tests 5 (DLPT5) for the following nine languages: (1) Arabic (Iraqi); (2) Persian-Farsi; (3) Urdu; (4) French; (5) Spanish; (6) Korean (7) Chinese-Mandarin; (8) Pashto and; (9) Dari. Also included in this contract will be a standard setting study and framework document. 3. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Projects will be executed through the terms of this contract. 4. This acquisition is Unrestricted. 5. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 611710 with a size standard of $7.0M. 6. Prior to a contractor receiving an award as a result of this solicitation, you must be registered and have an active, valid registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). To obtain information on CCR and/or to register with CCR, visit their web site at http://www.ccr.gov. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
