Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE:The Department of Interior, U.S. Geological survey (USGS), has a requirement for Repair of Structural Deficiencies on Pump Houses A (Bldg#0921) and Pump House B (Bldg# 0920) located at Leetown Science Center (LSC) Kearneysville, WV. The Government anticipates award of a non- Commercial, Firm Fixed Price type of Contract. The procurement is anticipated to include a period of performance of 11/23/09 days from date of award. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about 09/18/2010. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as Full and Open Competition to local 8(a) firms. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236210 "Industrial Building Construction" and the size standard is $500 employees the magnitude of Construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is not an incumbent Contractor. There will be the need for site inspection which time will be arranged when RFQ is announced. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may use funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror('s), will be required in any resultant contract.
