- Description
- The United States Army Special Operation Command (USASOC) has a requirement for a guest speaker/instruction to conduct three blocks of instructions to be taught over three consecutive days to the Psychological Operations Officer/Specialist Course in the areas of sociology and psychology. The specified training enables students to become more effective as influence agents seeking to modify behavior in various foreign target audiences. Instruction is for approximately 50 - 120 students per session for three (3) sessions per year. The instruction should be presented in blocks to enhance the student's learning potential and should take place over three (3) consecutive days. The anticipated period of performance is a base and two (2) one-year options. Requirements will be fully detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation number for this requirement is H92239-00-T-0041 and will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). USASOC intends to award on a competitive basis, using simplified acquisition procedures. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The anticipated NAICS code is 541720 with a size standard of $7 Million. Interested vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contract. Offerors will be required to complete either a paper copy of the Representations and Certifications or may complete them online at http://orca.bpn.gov) in responding to this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items.
