Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, intends to add $500,000 capacity to contract W912DR-06-D-0020, Marshall, Craft/Whitney, Bailey, Cox and MA. This will allow Baltimore District to modify one existing task order to allow the projects to proceed to a logical break point where a different contract vehicle can be used. This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract that consists of a three year ordering period, with a ceiling of $3,000,000.00 over the three year period. The ceiling amount of the contract has been reached in less than three years. This modification will change the total contract price for work performed by Marshall, Craft/Whitney, Bailey, Cox and MA from $3,000,000 to $3,500,000 million dollars for the remaining contract ordering period, which expires on 20 September 2009. This is not a formal solicitation nor a request for quotation or proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any contractor who responds that they can perform these services will be responsible for the full AE liability on the task order that is modified. Task Order 0017 to Contract W912DR-06-D-0020 is being modified to provide all Architect-Engineer (A-E) services required for Title 2 Services for the HVAC Upgrade at Building 394. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no requests are received by 4:30 pm eastern time on September 02, 2009, the government reserves the right to execute an modification to the Marshall, Craft/Whitney, Bailey, Cox, and MA contract without publishing a solicitation. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed award based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to kim.c.guyer@usace.army.mil no later than the time and date noted above.
