Description
For clarification purposes, the solicitation calls for work to be completed within three (3) months following award. Work will be required to be completed within three (3) months following winning vendors clearance approval to enter the FBI Academy. The following questions and answers are provided: 1: Q: The RFQ refers to reading existing meters. How many existing meters are there? 1: A: There are four IQ Analyzers. One on each normal power in and one on each generator. 2: Q: Do generators supply power via transfer switches or paralleling switchgear? 2: A: Paralleling switchgear. 3: Q: Is there a specification on the type of meters to be used, or for the period of time that they want the meters to be datalogging? Will "spot" measurements be acceptable if they are strategically done at times of high load? 3: A: Peak load will vary with customer use. Spot inspections will not work in those situations. HVAC and similar type loads are more constant and shorter monitoring would work in those cases. 4: Q: What are the quantity of meters to be installed for 3(e) SOW? 4: A: Contractor will determine quantity of meters to be placed to obtain required data for results. 5: Q: Will the duration be 30 days as recommended in industry guidelines? 5: A: A 30 day duration will not be required. HVAC and similar loads are constant and can be time shortened. 6: Q: For 3(f) SOW, will the generators be run on weekend days for monitoring, or weekdays? How many generators? Voltage rating? 6: A: Generators can be run during the week during normal times. There are two Generators, 1500KW each to common buss.
