Description
Amendment is issued to make clarifications and slight revisions as follows: Summary of Changes -CCTV systems deleted from list of equipment/systems on page 9 -Household appliances (i.e., washer, dryer, microwave, etc.) are added to "exclusion" list on page 9 -Selected FAR 52.222- ____ clauses have been deselected and are not applicable on page 29 -The Defense Base Act is not applicable to this acquisition and as a result, requirements for insurance coverage as required by the Defense Base Act as identified in items A.21 and A.25 on pages 24/32 are deleted. Note that other insurance requirements at items A.21 and A.26 remain in effect. -Preventive Maintenance Checklists (Attachment #2): Appliance items (i.e., washer, dryer, microwave oven, stove, refrigerator, linen press all deleted - preventive maintenance not required on these items) -Adjectival rating language at top of page 64 for non-past/current performance criteria changed slightly -Technical Merit Factors/Sub-factors changed reorganized/changed - see pages 61 and 64 - 65 -Clarification and minor edits have been made in the text at top of page 66 -Attachment # 8 is added to provide information from the Site Visits conducted during the week of 8/17/2009 Note: Changes in the text are identified via a vertical line in the right margin opposite the affected text. A complete revised solicitation document is included which incorporates the changes above. Although not specified previously, offers must be submitted in the English language, and the resulting contract documents will be issued/prepared in the English language. Prospective Offerors are reminded to make arrangements for timely submission of Past/Current Performance questionnaires to the Contracting Officer (see Attachment #7 and applicable instructions at top of page 62). Contracting Officer will respond to questions submitted by 7:00am Central Time (USA) 8/25/2009. Offers (including completed BID SCHEDULES (cost/price), Technical Proposals, and Past/Current Performance information are due to be received by the Contracting Officer on 9/2/2009, 9:00am, Central Time (USA).
