- Description
- Amendment 2 The solicitation is for slashing and hand piling services and related activities on the Moose Creek Ranger District of the Nez Perce National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish everything necessary, including, but not limited to all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-Furnished), and incidentals to perform all work necessary. Approximately 40 acres are planned for treatment but the amount of work awarded will be dependent upon available funding. Work is located along a road corridor approximately 21 miles up the Selway River from Lowell, ID. Completion date for the work is October 31, 2009. Solicitation issued 8/4/09. Site tour was held on 8/18/09. Solicitation was amended 8/19/09. Quoters must submit a signed copy of the amendment with their quotation. Date and time for responses was not extended. Solicitation was amended for a second time on 8/24/09 to correct small business size standard from 7 million to 17.5 million - the appropriate size standard for a fuels reduction project. Date and time for responses was not extended.
