Description
24 Aug 09 - The purpose of this mod is to add more questions and answers. 1. The synopsis states that 1 unit equals 5 hours, however the Statement of Work item 14 states that "Each unit will require four hours". This seems to be a discrepancy between the two pieces of documentation. Could you clarify? It should be 1 unit=5 hrs. 2. Even with the answer to question number 9, there seems to still be some confusion regarding the hours needed for this contract. Item 14 of the Statement of Work states that "Units will generally be scheduled from 0730-1630, excludes federal holidays. Units will be scheduled on weekdays, Monday through Friday. The contractor will be required to be available between the hours of 0730 and 1300 Tuesday through Thursday to support the computer based testing lab". Does this mean that there may be units scheduled outside of the 0730-1300 Tues-Thurs requirement? If so, this seems inconsistent with a Firm Fixed Price contract. I don't know what question number 9 is. We have to be flexible in case of emergency needs 3. Also, regarding number 1 and 2 above, if units are either 4 hours or 5 hours the 0730-1300 Tues-Thurs requirement is 5.5 hours each day which is inconsistent with the scheduling of whole units. Please clarify. This means "available within this timeframe, at times we need a 0730 start and if so, refer to: " In cases there the time exceeds four hours, the contractor will be paid on a prorate basis for the additional time worked. Exact days and times of the services will be determined by the government representatives in advance and may be modified according to the changing program needs."
