Description
Combined Synopsis/Solicitation W81K00-09-T-0367 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-35. This acquisition is solicited as a small business set-aside for NAICS 511120, size standard 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The requirements of this solicitation is for emergency nurse instructor and student manuals and fees as indicated below, for Army Meical School of Nursing, Fort Sam Houston TX 78234. Required items to be delivered FOB destination. ITEM 1: Trauma Nursing Core Course provider manuals, or equal, 600 each ITEM 2: Trauma Nursing Core Course instructor manuals, or equal, 60 each ITEM 3: Course fees for Trauma Nursing Core students, or equal, 1056 each ITEM 4: Course fee for instructors, or equal, 88 each ITEM 5: Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course provider manuals, or equal, 300 each ITEM 6: Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course instructor manuals, or equal, 100 each ITEM 7: ENPC course fees-student, or equal, 300 each ITEM 8: ENPC course fees-instructors, or equal, 100 each Salient characteristics for all line items: Must demonstrate the Emergency nurse and trauma nurse courses provide credentials/accreditation/standards of 15 CEU hours of education as a means to recertify as an Registered Nurse, LPN or Emt-basic, intermediate or paramedic. The following FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 [Instructions to Offerors]; Addendum 52.212-1; Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal applies to this acquisition. Vendors shall comply with FAR provision 52.211-6 if submitting other than the brand name products. Award will be all or none. The CCR can be accessed at Internet address: www.ccr.gov/. Confirmation of CCR registration will be validated prior issuance of an order. The closing date and time of this solicitation is 28 August 2009, 10:00 a.m. CST. Submit quotations on company letterhead signed by an authorized company representative by the closing date and time. Technical acceptability: If providing an equal item(s), comply with FAR Clause 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal. Explain how your company will meet the salient characteristics of the items as specified in the solicitation. Prospective contractors shall demonstrate that the manuals offered complies with the technical requirements described in the salient characteristics by submission of a written capability statement with their offer. 2. Price. 3. Evaluation Process: All quotes will be evaluated on overall technical acceptability. The award decision will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote.
