(1.) Description of item needed. Magnetic particle processor for nucleic acid purification (2.) Functions to be performed Extract DNA from feces, tissue Program and run extractions using nucleic acid isolation kits (to be supplied by Mfg ) (3.) Performance required Has a processing volume between 10-1000 ul 96 samples per run capacity 95% collection efficiency Able to operate between +4C to 96C operating temperature (4.) Essential physical characteristics Dimensions 68x60x38cm Wt ~28 kg Fixed magnetic rods, 96 in 1 frame, interchangeable magnetic heads Preloaded with programs for Mfg. isolation kits.
