Description
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to accomplish the following work: Paint the entire interior concrete floor with a heavy duty epoxy paint that is suitable for a Vehicle Maintenance Facility. Do not paint the stairs and Rooms 151 and 153. A three application be resistant to fuel, oils, antifreeze and other liquids commonly spilled in a Vehicle Maintenance Facility. The floor shall be light gray in color with a slip resistant finish. Yellow vehicle floor markings shall be painted back on the floor in a bright yellow epoxy paint in the exact configuration as the existing ones. The marking paint shall be compatible to the epoxy floor paint under it. Plug the drain outlet of a 32' x 12" x 13" trench at the east wall on the north end of the building. The containment tank that the trench drained into has been removed. The trench curently could contaminate soil under and around the building since there is no longer a tank to contain spills. The trench shall be modified so that no fluids can leak from the trench or the new plug at the drain outlet. Build a lockable cage in the north mezzanine. The cage shall have walls of a minimum 8'-0" in height with a caged ceiling. Provide a top to the cage so no one can obtain access by going over the walls. The cage fabric shall be heavy diamond woven metal fabric. The fabric shall not allow a hand to penetrate the cage mechanizms per door. Provide self standing shelves that run the total length of the north west wall approximately 24' long and 18" wide. There shall be 4 shelves vertically separated by 1'-6" vertically the first shelf being 2" above the floor. See layout of cage and doors marked in red on sheet 12.
