NSN: 2840-01-452-3173 PROEM Code: 07482 PN: 9340M41G03Description: Turbine Engine Gearbox Housing is a magnesium alloy cast component of the accessory gearbox. The function of the main housing is to form an oil tight box containing a gear drive that powers several components of the engine and aircraft. Dimensions are approx. 25 inches wide by 8.6 inches deep by 8.6 inches tall. Material is QE-22 (alloy of magnesium and silver).Quantity: Total 3 Year Best Estimated Quantity of 60 each, initial year order of 32 each, year 2 order of 12 each and year 3 order of 16 each. Total Contract Maximum Quantity 90 each.Destination: FB2039, Tinker AFB OKDelivery Schedule: 4 each monthly beginning 31 MAR 2011QR: Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Engineering Data Package will be available at Fed Biz Opps (www.fbo.gov).All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.Export Control applies to this acquisition.One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements.An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8253. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS.Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Request for Written Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable.
