- Sources Sought ***This requirement is currently UNFUNDED. *** The government does not presently intend to award a contract, but does want to obtain information in the event that funding is obtained. The government may or may not award a contract for some or all of the items in this request. **This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. ** The 366th Contracting Squadron is seeking a potential source interested in proposing on an acquisition for: CLIN 0001: 1 each: TL-1 CNC/Manual toolroom lathe (or equal); 16"x30", 16" swing, 7.5 hp 2,000 rpm, A2-5 spindle, LCD display, no workholding, toolpost, or toolholders, Operates on single or three-phase power, includes visual quick code, intuitive programming system, LCD15, USB port, 1MD, and 6 month warranty. Options: Additional 8 spare "M" functions, chip enclosure kit with double doors, 40GB hard disk drive and ethernet Interface compatable with Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 and XP, Keyswitch memory lock for front pendant, user definable macros, 8" manual 3-jaw scroll chuck, manual steady rest, manual positioning ad gripper adjustment for up to 5" diameter shafts, three point contract rollers with open C-frame, mainual tailstock includes platform with 30" travel and quill section with locking handle for manual thrust, early power failure detection module, rigid tapping, spindle orientation, compatible with 110-volt wall outlet. CLIN 0002: 1 each: Air Blow Gun with coiled hose and bracket; tooling: quick change tool post with 2 tool positions at 90 degrees apartt, cam lock system, 4ea 3/4 " turn/face, 1ea 1" boring bar tool holder, 4 station automatic tool turret that takes 3'4" stick tools, 1-1" boring bar holder. NOTE: max cuttin dia is limited to 8" CLIN 0003: Course the present overview of proper techniques used while perfoming a turning set up. Provide students with hands-on training and demonstrations, 3 day class, 8 hours/day, for 1-5 students. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to identify the availability of qualified sources. The anticipated contract type will be a Firm Fixed Price. Work to be performed under the contract will be within the North American Classification System (NAICS) code as 333512. If you have the capability and are interested in this acquisition, submit a detailed capability statement which, at a minimum, identifies: 1. Point of contact including phone number, physical and e-mail address. 2. Size status and/or SBA certification program of your firm. 3. CAGE Code for your firm. 4. Positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. 5.
