- Description
- The VA Medical Center in Erie, PA is seeking professional A/E services for the Water Tanks and Pumps, Project #562-09-111. The consultant shall provide all architectural and engineering services as defined to accomplish complete contract drawings, specifications, technical reports and cost estimates. The purpose of this project is to develop the design and provide construction period services for the type, location and size of an emergency water storage tank subsystem. A/E Services to include site investigation and verification of as-built drawings, drawings and specifications, cost estimates, construction period services and site visits. A/E will provide 25% design submission, 50% design submission, 75% design submission, 100% design submission and final contract documents. The work shall meet all applicable VA design criteria and construction standards. The estimated construction budget is between $250,000 and $500,000. Interested firms must submit one copy of completed SF330, electronically to jaimy.rand@va.gov or via mail to the attention of the Contracting Officer (562/90C), VAMC, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504 by close of business August 24, 2009. NAICS 541330 applies. This procurement is set-aside for emerging small business only. This is a total Emerging Small Business Set-aside. An Emerging Small Business is defined as a small business concern whose size is no greater than 50% of the numerical size standard applicable to the NAICS code assigned to this announcement. NAICS code for this announcement is 541330. The small business size standard for this code is $4.5 million. It is anticipated that this project will require site/civil engineer services. The following clarification is provided:Regarding qualifications, a professional registration/license to practice in any state in the U.S. is adequate.
