Description
Stoller Navarro Joint Venture (SNJ) is seeking support services to provide technical and professional services at the Nevada Test Site (NTS) and the Nevada Test and Training Range (TTR) for the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Safety Administration/Nevada Site Office (NNSA/NSO). Work typically will be for very limited numbers of personnel with extensive NTS experience. Task orders will be issued as needed to support the three projects that comprise the NTS program. It will be necessary to provide rapid responses to the task order requests. Tasks will require experience on the NTS/TTR with the Industrial Sites or Soils Projects. The contract award will be for a three-year base period to start on October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2012 and two-one year options starting on October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2014. The estimated Direct Productive Labor Hours (DPLH) over the life of the anticipated subcontract is estimated not to exceed 6,000 hours per year. Specific types of personnel will be requested in task orders. Personnel supporting this effort will typically be: Task Managers, Engineers, Geologists, Environmental Scientists, and other scientists. Experience levels required to support tasks are expected to range from 2 years of experience to more than 20-years depending on the types of tasks which must be supported. Work to be supported will range from preliminary site characterization, the development and presentation of Data Quality Objectives (DQO's), and work plan development, management and oversight of field investigations, and development of closure documents including Corrective Action Decision Documents (CADD's) and CADD-Closure Reports (CADD-CR). Tasks may include field work supporting characterization and preparation of field reports. Under special circumstances SNJV may seek specialized services such as: Groundwater Modeling support; Identification and logging of borehole samples; Interpretation of boring logs; Interpretation of geophysical data (magnetics, resistivity, ground penetrating radar, and similar data). SNJV may also require limited amounts of support in the development and management of procedures and the performance and tracking of audits and assessments.
