- Stoller-Navarro Joint Venture (SNJV) under Prime Contract No. DE-AC-52-03NA99205 with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration/ Nevada Site Office (NNSA/NSO) requires an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) subcontract to rent ¾ ton, 4X4 crew cab pick up trucks with receiver style class III towing packages. Trucks must be made in the United States of America. Quantity of trucks and the rental periods are not known at this time and could vary from one day to six months. Trucks provided for a period of three month or longer cannot be more than one year old and must have approximately 10,000/15,000 at the start of the rental period. Trucks shall be certified to be fully operational with current maintenance (fluids, oil, cooling system, battery & brakes), current registration and certification that current service and maintenance have been performed. The anticipated subcontract award will be for a three-year base period starting October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010, October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 and October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012 and two one year options: October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013 and October 1, 2013 through 2014. Vehicles will be used for commercial purposes to include off- road usage in rough desert terrain and in remote work sites. Normal fair wear and tear caused by this usage is considered incidental and successful subcontractor shall pay incidental damages related to normal fair wear and tear caused by commercial and off-road usage. Fair wear and tear is defined as: • Dents which are no larger than a half-inch in diameter or smaller. • Dents that do not affect or change body lines of the vehicle. • Scratches and dents in the truck bed. • Windshield chips less than a half-inch in diameter. Unlimited mileage is required during the rental period with no charge for delivery or return. The vendor is to respond to all requests made in the RFP and be capable of performing to the requirements in the Statement of Work.
