- This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, (NGA), has a requirement for a Laser Engraver. The Solicitation number is HM017709T0076 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System Code, (NAICS), is 332212 with a size standard of $7.0 million. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. Closing date for this notice is 12:00 p.m. EST, Wednesday August 26, 2009. RESPONSES SHALL BE SUBMITTED VIA E-MAIL ONLY TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AT ROXANNE.SAULSBURY@NGA.MIL. SUBJECT: Legend 36EXT-75 watt Laser Engraver OR Equivalent MUST meet the following Project Requirements: - Work area must be a minimum of 36x24x12 - Thickness must cut up to 1/4" thick acrylic - Must have digitally controlled, air cooled CO2 Laser Tubes that are fully modular, permanently aligned and replaceable. - Ability to attach an air compressor to remove heat and gases. - PC Compatible - Control panel to control the laser settings, Red Dot Pointer - Commercial off the shelf software compatible 110-240 volt 1PH - Service plan to include on site spares for any fragile or frequently serviced parts. - Purex Laserex 800I 3 tier filter system OR Equivalent. - Air Compressor OR Equivalent - Vector Pin Table OR Equivalent SOLICITATION PROVISIONS: Offerors must include with their quotations: a completed copy of provisions 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial items, obtained from Air Force FAR site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil.
