- Description
- In accordance with the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a sole source modification to Contract N00019-05-C-0057 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) for the development and procurement of a Mission Control Element Uninterrupted Power Supply (MCE UPS) unit. This procurement will support ongoing Global Hawk Maritime Development (GHMD) program mission critical operations and maintenance efforts. NGSC is the program contractor for the design, development and manufacture of the Global Hawk Unmanned Air Vehicle System, and is currently performing the operations, maintenance and support functions for GHMD. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.) GENERAL INFORMATION: NGSC is the only known source available with the requisite equipment, personnel and technical knowledge to satisfy the Government's requirement within the required timeline. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES: There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, to make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a modification for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. See Numbered Note 22.
