- This acquisition is for an initial Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), Utilizing Unrestricted - Other than Full and Open Competition procedures applies in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1) with firm fixed price Base plus 4 (1-year term option periods) under project number IQC09189009011. The procurement is for a total Estimated Annual Quantity of 444 each, Monthly Wartime Rate (MWR) is 20 per month (in 30 days increments starting 30 DARO for 6 months for a total quantity of 120 each). Thr Government required delivery schedule is 116 DARO FOB Destination and Inspection and Acceptance at Source (Origin). This request is for National Stock Number 2995-01-172-8825 to procure a Detector Mellatic for Weapon Systems Apache – AH-64 Helicopter. The OEM is McDonnell Douglas Helicopter {CAGE 8V613} with an approve source of supply, Eaton Aerospace LLC {CAGE 97484} providing Part Number B586. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This is an Export Control Item and Configuration Control Applies. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
