- RECOVERY - THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS BEING OFFERED UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). THIS IS AN EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. THIS RFP IS OPEN ONLY TO EMERGING SMALL BUSINESSES. AWARD WILL BE PROCESSED PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the following work: A. Remove and replace windows in several buildings. B. Remove and replace two overhead doors.C. Remove and replace two walk through doors. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITEa. The site for construction is at Sand Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Columbia, South Dakota. b. Prospective offerors may inspect the site by making arrangements with John Jave at Sand Lake National Wildlife Refuge (605) 885-6320. The estimated magnitude of construction is under $30,000.00. The NAICS code 238290, All Other Building Equipment Contractors, and the small business size standard is $14 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to available electronically on/or about August 19, 2009, with an anticipated closing date of September 10, 2009. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at http://www.fbo.gov once available for issuance. All questions regarding subject requirement shall be submitted in writing to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Attention Mr. Jon Morse, P.O. Box 25486, Mail Stop 60181, DFC, Denver, CO 80225 or fax to (303) 236-4791. E-mail questions may be sent to jon_morse@fws.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. ARRA REQUIREMENT: THE AWARDEE WILL BE SUBJECT TO SECTION 1512(C) OF THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT WHICH REQUIRES EACH CONTRACTOR TO REPORT ON ITS USE OF RECOVERY FUNDS UNDER THE AWARDED CONTRACT. THESE REPORTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION WEBSITE:EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2003, ALL CONTRACTORS MUST BE REGISTERED ON THE CCR WEBSITE AS AN ACTIVE VENDOR IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN AWARD AND TO RECEIVE PAYMENTS AGAINST AN EXISTING AWARD.
