Description
The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions posed by a potential quoter. Q1. What is the temperature range of the sample being measured? A1.The temperature range of the sample is 0 to 250 degrees centigrade. Q2. What is the size of the chamber thru which the sample is flowing? I am assuming the sensor will be place in a duct (or flue) thru which the products of combustion will flow. The size of the duct will determine the proper size of the sensor. The temperature range of the flowing products of combustion will determine the type of sensor which is most appropriate. A2.The size of the chamber thru which the sample is flowing varies from approx. 2’ duct to 5’ duct. The sample is combustion products in these ducts. The sensor will not be placed in the duct. The gas sample is continuously extracted from the duct through a heated sample line and sent through a conditioning system (pumps, filters, bypass lines, mass flow controllers, heaters, traps). Water and particulates are removed before the sample passes though the gas analyzers. Q3. Shall each system have its own (separate) panel? A3.Each system should be completely independent of one another as they may not be used in the same location. All terms and conditions of the original solicitation, including closing date and time, remain unchanged and in full effect.
