Description: The solicitation will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about August 24, 2009. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is N9512090037. The National Park Service, Olympic National Park, has a requirement for fire and security alarm system design, construction, maintenance, and monitoring of thirteen structures in the Headquarters Area of Olympic National Park. All thirteen structures require a fire alarm system. Seven of the thirteen structures also require a security alarm system. Four of the thirteen structures are historic and will require consultation with the park's Historical Architect during the design and installation phases. The Contractor shall provide 24 hour/7-day-a-week fire and security alarm system monitoring. The work is to be accomplished at Olympic National Park, Headquarters Area, Port Angeles, Clallam County, Washington. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation. This procurement is a Request for Proposals (RFP) subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12, 13, and 15. This RFP will result in award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract for one base year plus four option years. In addition, this RFP is set-aside 100% for Small Business, and all responsible small businesses concerns may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the National Park Service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561620. The small business size standard is $12.5 million (average annual gross receipts over past three years). All offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov, in accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-07 Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must also be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database at http://orca.bpn.gov, in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items."
