- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. A separate written solicitation M67400-09-T-0301 will be issued on 18 Aug 2009 or later as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-29 Amendment 1 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13.The North American Industrial Classification System code is 423120 and the business size standard is not applicable. The acquisition is for Fixed Price, a single award contract for NEW PARTS FOR PIERCE MANUFACTURERED VEHICLES to be shipped to Garrison Mobile Equipment Section (GME), MCB Camp S.D. Butler, Okinawa, Japan to support vehicle maintenance. Also required is the Contractor to provide a vehicle parts list update with manufacturer's catalogs or products brochures. The contract base period will be 14 September 2009 through 13 April 2009 with four (4) one year option periods. Desired warranty on vehicle parts received is 90 days. The Offerors shall propose their best delivery schedule, terms and conditions in the proposal.The proposed delivery terms and conditions are to be evaluated for the contract award. The Offerors shall propose their best pricing terms and conditions in their proposal. The proposed pricing terms and conditions are to be evaluated for the contract award. The Government intends to make single award to the responsible offeror whose offer is a most advantageous to the Government considering price and non-price factors. It is anticipated that award will be made based on the following factors: price to include discount terms & conditions and warranty, and delivery terms and conditions. Price and Delivery Terms and Conditions are approximately equal in importance. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposals.
