Description

BACKGROUND: AAFES established a new group called Strategic Corporate Communication (SCC) in August 2008. In order to make SCC’s internal communication as effective as possible, and to support Strategic Goal number 2 – "Build a culture of loyalty, ownership, sustainability and continuous improvement" AAFES is in need of an internal Corporate Communication Audit. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: AAFES is primarily interested in a corporate communication survey (i.e. an aspect would be a communication audit). The contractor responsiblities would include but not necessarily be limited to: • Will assess communication elements to include Web-based, multi-media, and print communications. •Will address channel preference, channel usage, senior leadership communication, and overall satisfaction level with corporate messaging. •Will allow AAFES to benchmark and measure current communication best practices against other retail organizations (i.e., department store) and plan strategy moving forward. •Selected company must provide recommendations for next steps as well as an action plan of results. •Consultants will brief results to senior leadership. •Statistical results will be prepared for the presentation. •End product must include web-based platform to disseminate results.
