- Intent to Sole Source: This is a notice of intent of The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141, to negotiate with Elekta, Inc., a large business, to provide software maintenance and support of the existing Impac Mosaiq software and products. The resulting contract will cover the following components currently in place: "MOSAIQ Users"Q for RO"eCHART RO"eCHART Users"SEQUENCER for KD2"SEQUENCER MLC for Varian"SEQUENCER IMMRT for KD2"ViewStation"ViewStation Users"DICOM RT Image for Philips"DICOM RT Plan for Nucletron Plato"DICOM CR for Kodak"PHOTOS & DIAGRAMS"Extended BARCODING"SIM-SET"TNM"Topography Codes"ICD-O"ESI:ADT"ESI:CHX"eVAL"Authorized Tracking"Code Update"Document Management"SEQUENCER for Clinic 23EC"MLC Fit"MOSAIQ IGRT Elekta is the parent company of Impac Medical Systems, a large business. Only one business can satisfy the agency requirements due the proprietary data rights. The government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.301. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 334519, with a size standard of 500 employees. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Such information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. No solicitation will be made available and all information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
