Description
United States National Arboretum China Garden Fundraising Initiative Sources Sought THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. IT IS NOT BEING PROVIDED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING PROPOSALS. Synopsis: The USDA and USNA are seeking sources familiar with Chinese culture that are capable of providing marketing and fundraising services for the design and construction of the new China Garden which will be located at the United States National Arboretum. The requirement is to review and modify existing fundraising plans and marketing materials for the purpose of informing designated stakeholders of the projects plans and strategic goals; to plan, design and produce marketing and fundraising materials for donors; to develop a list of all U.S corporations and major donors conducting business in China who currently support Asian art and cultural awareness and to design and develop an on-line donor contribution web site. The total amount of funds to be raised for this initiative will range between $20MM to $25MM dollars. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561499 – All Other Business Support Services. Interested firms are encouraged to submit capability statements that describes prior fundraising services performed. Specifically, the capability statement should detail the project and size, customer, market, types of materials produced, web-site development services, other type services provided relevant to fundraising activity and familiarity with Chinese culture. The capability statement should also include the standard for compensation (i.e. percentage of funds collected; time and materials or firm fixed price etc.). Interested parties must indicate business size and proof of any set-aside certification as well as provide a contact name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address. Capability statements are to be submitted to the identified point of contact within fifteen (15) working days after publication of this notice. Information received in response to this notice will be used for market research and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Federal Government to make an award based on the responses to this notice. The information received from this sources sought notice will simply assist the Federal Government in planning its acquisition strategy.
