Description
This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR12.6 for simplified acquistion procedures and the resultant purchase order will include all applicable provisions and clause in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45, effective July 15, 2009. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FDA-SOL-09-1062715. This synipsis NAICS code is 423490.. This is to notify contractors that the government intend to issue a Purchase Order in accordance with FAR Part 13.106 for the following requiremens under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a total small business set-aside. Prospective offerors are responcible for downloading the solicitation and any amendments. It is the offeror"s responciblity to monitor the Fed BzizzOPPs website for the release of any amendments to this solicitation. the Government reserves the right to award a contract without dicussion if the Contracting Officer determines that the initial offer(s) is are providing the Bbest Value and discusstions are not necessary. The solicitation is issued as an Request for quotes. (RFQ) The Food & Drug Administrion /WEAC 109 Holton St Winchester Ma intends to aware a purchase order a purchase order for the equipment listed below: (1) Ball Mill PM400 220-230v 50/50 HZ ( brand Name or equal) with the following configurations: One each The ball mill must be able to break soft, hard, brittle, fibrous, dry, and wet food samples down to submicron size. The ball mill must be able to simutaneously grind up to 8 samples for high sample throughput. The ball mill must be designed for long-term and continous use with low maintenance. The ball mill must be capable of providing reproductible results The ball mill must have direction reversable feature. The mall must be programmable and able to memorize at leat 10 grinding parameter combinations. The grinding chamber must be sealed to rprevent sample loss The grinding vessel must be non-stick for easy sample retrieve and clean. (2) Jar Grinding 500ML ( Brand name or equal ) four each Specifications: Jar 500ML C Alumina 1PM 100/400, Grinding Jar type C, PM 100/400, 500ml Sintered, Alumina 1 plus 10 labels. The volume of grinding jar must be made of acid resistant materials. (3) Grinding Ball ( brand name or equal) 400 each Specifications: Grinding Ball Stainless Steel. 10 mm@ (4) GrindoMix GM200 ( brand name or equal ) 2 each Specifications: GM200 100-120 v 50/60 hz, rindoMix GM200 100-120V 50/60 HX US-Plug Complete Including 1 Litre plastic Receptacle with Cover. FOB Destination An official authorized to bind the offeror must sigh the terms and conditions of the offer. Offerors that fail to furnish required representation and certifications or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. This is a commerial Item-firm fixed price requirement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Evaluation factors are technical specifications: functionality, descriptive materials. literature, brochures and any other information corresponding to each minimum requirement, which demostrates the capabilities of the offerors equipment. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System and assigned rating are not applicable to this solicitaion notice. CCR: Vendors must be registered in the Central Contract Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to www.ccr.gov. You will need a Dunn * Bradstreet number and banking information. Offeror Representaions and Certificatins Commercial Items. the clause at FAR52-212-4., Contract Terms and Conditions. Commercial items applies to this acquistion. The following agenda haas been attached to the clause: None The clause at FAR 52212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statues or Executve Orders. Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.217-8, fAR 52.222-36, FAR 52.22235, FAR 52.222-36 and FAR 52.232-33.
