- Formation of a Live Virtual Constructive Working Group. (18 August 2009) The Live Virtual Constructive Committee of the Range Commanders Council (RCC) Data Sciences Group seeks industry participation in the formation of a Live Virtual Constructive Working Group. The purpose of the Working Group is to assist Department of Defense Test and Training Ranges develop standards and guidelines related to the conduct of live, virtual, and constructive events in a net-centric environment. Members of this Working Group will be required to travel and attend a minimum of two meetings annually. Participation is limited to technical personnel who will be expected to provide inputs and comments on developing live, virtual, and constructive standards and guidelines. The Working Group duration is expected to be two years with the first meeting on 15-17 September 2009 in Solomons, Maryland, hosted by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). Future meetings will be held twice each year, hosted by other RCC member ranges. Any additional meetings will be established and scheduled by the Working Group.
