Description

This contract requires tree thinning, girdling, mulching, lopping and scattering, white pine pruning, and related layout work for buffering lakes and wetlands 150 feet, on the Mt. Adams Ranger District in compliance with its terms, specifications and provisions. The contract scope includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals except those items listed as Government-furnished property. Potential Quoters are encouraged to tour and personally evaluate work requirements and conditions. Only by a physical inspection of the work areas can the Quoter become aware of existing conditions. NOTE: Award will be made in accordance with Title II of Public Law 106-393. Offerors must show the benefits to SKAMANIA County. Offerors shall complete the attached FORM A (or an equivalent) and submit it with the pricing proposal. See Section J, Attachments, for an example of FORM A. In addition, the awarded Contractor(s) shall provide the Employment Data and Subcontract / Supplier data information collection requirements found in Section H, Special Contract Requirements.
