Description: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center Fort Bragg, North Carolina anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Job Order Contract (JOC) for providing maintenance, repair or alteration of real property, and support services for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) located at Fort Rucker, Alabama. General Information: The Government intends to award a single JOC for repair, maintenance and minor construction services in support of the DPW located at Fort Rucker, Alabama. This project is restricted for certified HUBZone Firms. All other offerors are ineligible to provide proposals. The contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, job site supervision, labor, and equipment to repair, construct real property facilities and provide related work as specified, at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and satellite installations in the following counties: Dale, Houston, Geneva, Pike, Covington, and Coffee. The anticipated period of performance is 26 October 2009 through 25 October 2010 with four (4) one-year option periods This requirement includes but is not limited to: foundation and site work; construct walls, doors, windows; concrete construction; finished materials; masonry construction; fencing; metals; communications; carpentry; elevators/conveying systems; thermal/moisture protection; mechanical/electrical; earthwork; demolition and removal; and roads/paving. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, size standard $33.5M. The Government anticipates the IDIQ JOC to have a $50M program ceiling over the life of the contract, and a guaranteed minimum of $300,000 for the base ordering period and each optional ordering periods. The anticipated posting date of the RFP is on or around 26 August 2009. Site Visit Information. A site visit is scheduled for 2 September 2009, 9:00 AM 1:00 PM CST at the Soldier Service Center. Contractors desiring to participate in the site visit are asked to meet at Room 284, Building 5700, Novosel Street, Fort Rucker, AL. All interested firms may attend with a limit of five (5) attendees per firm. Please confirm participation in site visit by submitting full name and job title of the attendees to Ms. Virginia A.
