Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 517210, size standard of 1,500 employees. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The acquisition is for cellular phone service and annual maintenance at the US Department of Labor in Washington, DC. See Scope of Work below: WORK TO BE PERFORMED The United States Department of Labor Employment Standard Administration request to purchase 23 cell phones, 112 blackberries, maintenance, accessories and a 12 month service plan with (4) one year options. Maintenance/warranty plan to cover loss, theft, physical or liquid damage as well as mechanical or electrical failure due to defect, or normal wear and tear and routine maintenance SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Vendor must have the capability to allow users to keep their current phone number and provide assistance to transfer current phone numbers to new cell phones. Provide cell phone/blackberry upgrade yearly, if Option Year is exercised, at no additional cost to the Government. The following FAR provisions/clauses apply to this solicitation.
