- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, PA proposes to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract on a sole source basis for the evaluation and technology demonstration of Active Vibration Control (AVC) Hardware and Software in an Air Cushioned Vehicle operating environment to The Lord Corporation, 111 Lord Drive, Cary, NC 27511. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency with 15 days of this notice. Solicitation is available for download from FEDBIZZOPPS or NECO.Navy.mil. The solicitation package will be available electronically - no hard copies will be sent. All questions must be in writing to nathan.a.quinn@navy.mil.
