- Dwg SP-1 Dwg S-2 Dwg S-1 Dwg A-8 Dwg A-5 Dwg A-2 Dwg A-1 Amendment 0002 The barracks building was built in the late 1960's. The building is four stories tall and consists of concrete floor slabs supported by precast concrete deck, steel beams and columns. The building is approximately 236 feet long by 56 feet wide to include an exterior balcony and a small mechanical room located in the basement northeast corner. The floor to floor height is approximately 10 feet. The foundation is supported on piles and concrete pile caps. The first floor is approximately four feet below (south wall) and four feet above (north wall) the surrounding grade. The exterior walls are composed of 6 to 8-inch CMU with 4-inch face brick exterior. The exterior walls contain numerous aluminum sash operable windows with precast sill CMU. The roof structure is concrete slab (1/8-inch per foot slope) with a built-up roofing system and precast concrete fascia. The exterior balcony and stairwells have metal railings with aggregate faced plywood. The building has central shower/toilet areas in the building, three on the first floor and 4 on the second, third and fourth floor. The shower/toilet area is approximately 12 feet by 23 feet. Domestic hot water was provided from the mechanical room. The buildings have typical lighting and electrical power systems found in buildings constructed in the late 1960's. Pre-bid site visit shall be held on 27 August 2009 at 1 PM eastern time. THE BID DATE IS HEREBY CHANGED TO 9 SEPTEMBER 2009 AT 2 PM.
