- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under NAVAIR BOA N00019-09-G-0013 to Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK), Clearwater, FL for the procurement of approximately ten (10) AAR-47(V)2, O-level test sets for Foreign Military Customers. The work includes but is not limited to; all hardware, labor and materials. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Alliant Techsystems Inc.; Clearwater, FL. As the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AAR-47 Missile Warning System (MWS), Alliant Techsystems Inc. is the only qualified source which possesses the requisite knowledge required to perform this requirement in a timely and cost effective manner. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, “only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” This notice of intent is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation of offers.
