Description
The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotes for ten (10) automatic water samplers for a firm fixed-price contract. The automatic water samplers will collect water samples from the Delta Mendota Canal (DMC) for subsequent water quality analysis. The automatic water samplers will be delivered to the Bureau of Reclamation located at 2800 Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes are: 334513, 334516 and 334519. The related small business size standard is restricted to 500 employees or less. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business concerns only. Solicitation R09PS20113 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 27, 2009. The solicitation must be downloaded from the above website; no paper copy of the Solicitation will be distributed. Questions concerning this solicitation should be directed to Joy Morrison by e-mail at jmorrison@usbr.gov. This announcement is not a Request for Quotes and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. ____________________________________________Additional Requirement Details:The auto-samplers should possess the following general features:1.Capability to extract individual samples from a non-pressurized aqueous environment. This environment includes, but is not limited to, wastewater discharge, wastewater, storm water, process water, natural and man made water channels, or man made vessels according to a predetermined program. 2.Capability to deposit the samples into one or more collection vessels. 3.Capability to provide the user with a representative water sample collected in (1) for further water quality analysis. More specific technical requirements for the automatic water samplers will be made available with solicitation R09PS20113. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Annual Representations and Certifications, as required by FAR 4.1102, apply to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Information on annual Representations and Certifications can be obtained via the Internet at http://orca.bpn.gov.
