Description
This is a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) under project number IQC091630090025 with firm fixed price for the Base year Base plus 4(1-year term option years. The procurement is for a total Annual Demand Quantity of 7008 each. FOB Destination and Inspection and Acceptance at Source (Origin). The required delivery schedule with a Government First Article Testing is 331 Days after receipt of order (DARO). This request is for National Stock Number 2840-00-036-6358 to procure a Seal, Air, Aircraft, for Weapon Systems 71N –TF-34 Aircraft Engine. OEM is GE Aircraft Engine Group (CAGE: 99207) with one approved source of supply Metro, Machine CAGE 50554 for OEM‘s part number 6019T82G05. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to this procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Utilizing Unrestricted - Other than Full and Open Competition procedures applies in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1) The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is an Export Control Item and Configuration Control Applies. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
