Description
Reference page 5, Statement of work, delete and replace with the following: Statement of Needs for Temporary Mice Trailer First of all, I wish to retract the SOW I sent to you just 2 days ago. I wish instead to tell you my need, and maybe you can suggest possible solutions and prices. You are the expert in trailers and modular units. Here is what we have: I need to rent for six months a trailer to house four racks of mice. Each rack has a footprint of 2X5X6. That is, each rack is two feet wide, five feet long, and six feet high. On these racks will be cages housing all of our mice. The racks are on wheels. We only have mice, no other animals. All of the racks, thus mice, can be in one large room if that is required on your part. Of course we need some room on all sides of the racks, so they can be wheeled around as we clean cages, check on the mice, etc. We also need a room area for Procedures which needs to be somewhat separate from the rice cages above. It would also be nice to have a second room, for either a small office or for storage. But this room is not necessary. It would be nice to have a third room for quarantine-like abilities. But this room is not necessary. Our employees will hook up water, sewer, electrical, etc. to the trailer. But the trailer needs to have installed from you already a heating and A/C unit. But as far as installing the trailer, and hooking up the trailer, you only need to get the trailer to us, and of course later pick up the trailer in approximately six months, after we are done using it. Also, if one trailer cannot satisfy the above, we would entertain renting two trailers. Here are my questions: What do you propose to meet our above-needs? Do you have something commercially available and viable now, that might meet our needs? How soon can you deliver the above to our facility, at 200 Springs, Road, Bedford, MA? What would be the range of cost for your services and trailer cost?
