- RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, NATIONAL INTERAGENCY FIRE CENTER BUILDING 100 ELECTRICAL UPGRADE. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The work consists of removal and replacement of a portion of existing Electrical Switch Gear with a new circuit breaker panel board. In addition the contractor shall set and connect an Emergency Standby Generator and Autotransfer Switch panel. The contractor shall also fabricate and provide new interconnecting conduits, electrical connections, control circuit wiring and material to complete the installation and restore system to full operation. The Government shall provide the Switch Gear with circuit breaker panel board, Generator and Autotransfer Switch panel. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS: 238210. The project site is located in Boise, Idaho. Performance time is 21 calendar days, estimated to begin October 13, 2009. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, Payment Protection is required for contracts greater than $30,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net on or about August 25, 2009. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Full funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award will utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
