- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-09-T-5522, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. NAICS 811219 applies. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. This is a small business set-aside. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for TEST EQUIPMENT CALIBRATION USNS ZEUS. 1.0ABSTRACT 1.1Accomplish the annual calibration of the ship’s test equipment and meters. 2.0REFERENCES: None 3.0ITEM LOCATION/DESCRIPTION 3.1Location 3.1.1Electronics Shop (2-27˝-2) 3.1.2Comm. Center (02-28 ˝-1) 3.2Quantity 3.1.2 As listed in Enclosure I below 4.0GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/MATERIAL/SERVICES/INFO: None 5.0NOTES: None 6.0QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: 6.1All work shall be accomplished to satisfaction of the MSCREP and in accordance with current Regulatory Body rules and regulations. 7.0STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIRED 7.1Transport instrumentation and test equipment listed in Enclosure I from ship to shop. Calibration in place is also acceptable. 7.2Clean, lubricate as necessary, perform periodic routine maintenance and calibrate all listed items of instrumentation. Install calibration stickers bearing the companies name, date of calibration and date next calibration due on all listed instrumentation. 7.3Provide MSCREP with certification documents describing method of calibration and certification date of calibration instruments.
