- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, 185ARW090004, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-36. The NAICS Code is 238310. This procurement is advertised using other than full and open competition. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; 0001 Eight (8) APU ducting insulation kits used to insulate APU ducting in KC-135R aircraft. Insulation must be approved by the item manager for the KC-135R APU system. APU ducting to be insulated is shown in attached drawing, which is referred to in Technical Orders (T.O.s) 1c-135(k)r-2-16ga-1, 1c-135(k)r-4-3 and 1c-135(k)r-4-16. Items should be shipped 30 Days ARO, FOB: Destination for delivery to SIOUX CITY, IA 51111. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. The offeror must include a completed copy of provision 52.212-3 with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items.
