Description
NASA/LaRC has a requirement for one each Smart Eye Pro 5.5 Eye Tracker System andthe upgrade of an existing Smart Eye Pro 3 Camera System to a 5 Camera System.(1) The Smart Eye Pro 5.5 Eye Tracker System is to consist of the following:Software license, Smart Eye Pro 5.51 PC5 Cameras, including lenses and filters for indoor applications5 Infrared flashes2 Exponator-5 boxes, master and slave1 Manual5 sets of 2.5 meter cables + 5 meter cable extension1 chessboard1 Time synch module1 Software Subscription Service, first year free of charge(2) The upgrade of an existing Smart Eye Pro 3 Camera System to a 5 Camera System is toinclude the following:1 new PC with the latest version of Smart Eye Pro software installed and a license for upto 5 camerasAn extra frame grabber cardExponator 5 box, slave version includes cable2 sets of camera lenses and filters2 IR Flashes2 sets of long cablesThis notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are beingrequested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to usethe On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote. The On-line RFQ system is linked above orit may be accessed at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The information required by FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred)no later than August 19, 2009.It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this sitefor the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible fordownloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any).An ombudsman has been appointed - See NASA Specific Note "B".Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs link below.
