- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center - Pacificintends to issue a solicitation to provide for the purchase of single-channel, manpack radios, components and accessories. A Multiple Award,Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Fixed-Price type contract isanticipated.The prospective contract will have a one-year base period with three one-yearoptions. The estimated items and quantities are as follows: 5615manpack radio sets; 5415 manpack (mountable) radio sets; 5615dismounted manpack radio set; government purchase rights; 393 classroomtraining sessions; 16600 non-rechargeable batteries; 8300rechargeable batteries; 6472 battery chargers; 4317 ready-based spares kits;4317 programming software; 4317 software interface cables; 4317 cloningcables; 1295 multi-pack battery chargers; 6472 headsets; 675 vehicleadapter/power amplifiers; 1295 base station/power amplifiers; 4904 SATCOMvehicle antennas with mounting kits; 4749 UHF SATCOM antenna sets; 4904 HFvehicle antennas with mounting kits; 4904 HF antenna sets; 4904 project-25waveforms; 4904 tetra waveforms; 4904 VHF BOWMAN waveforms; 4904COBRA waveforms. Additional information will be available on the SPAWAR e-commerce website under "future opportunities" as it becomes available. NOSOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. It is currently anticipated that SolicitationN66001-09-R-0121 regarding this requirement will be released on or aboutOctober 1, 2009, 2009. Thesolicitation and any subsequent amendments resulting from thisannouncement will be available to interested parties via SPAWAR e-commerceCentral website at https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil, under "BusinessOpportunities, "SSC San Diego", "Open Solicitations."
