Description
This is a market survey only. The Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center, CCJM-MA anticipates soliciting a sole source award (under FAR 6.302- 1) to Ideal Aerosmith, 1510 Gateway Drive N.E., East Grand Forks, Minnesota 56721. The U.S. Government will acquire a product for testing by the US Army, Research, Development and Engineering Command Armament, Research, Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM ARDEC) in support of the VAPM 120mm project. This award shall provide that the vendor shall deliver one customized Model 1068-2 Centrifuge System for support of the VAPM 120mm project. The vendor shall also provide installation supervision, start-up assistance and training at the specified price on the provided quote. The Ideal Aerosmith Model 1068-2 Centrifuge System shall contain specifications as per data sheet 24 inch table top diameter, 50lb payload capacity, +/- 0.1% payload capacity above 190 rpm, 8 line slip rings at 5A each and a 0-1900 rpm range. Ideal Aerosmith personnel are responsible for ensuring proper mounting and leveling of the table, connecting of all cables, powering up system and performing functionality checks. System shall be ready to operate upon completion of this service. This proposed requirement has an anticipated period of performance of 12 months. Firms should indicate the level of clearance possessed in their response. Any responsible/interested sources shall submit their qualifications and capabilities within 15 days of this notice to: U.S. Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality Contracting Center, Picatinny, NJ 07806, Ms. Megan C. Boyle, Bldg. 10, or submit the information electronically to megan.boyle@us.army.mil. Information submitted should include the organization, personnel, facilities, applicable subcontractor network, and past experience to meet the specific needs stated above. Include company name, address, telephone number, technical point of contact, and brochure/literature. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under/in relation to this announcement. Electronic submittals are preferred.
